Customer Insults & Down in the Dumps

Recently, I received an insult to my journals. I felt very sad about that. I felt so bad that I wanted to close down Journal Junky. It's amazing how you can know that you have a good product, but the moment someone says something negative about it, all of your self-esteem plummets.

Reorders, and positive customer feedback, helped me to realize that my product is unique, and of quality, and just plain lovely in a practical way. I needed a lot of boosting from my hubby to get out of the dumps!

Now, looking back, I know that some people are implacable. They cannot be pleased no matter how hard I try. I go above and beyond for my customers, making sure that they receive the perfect package (I even paid part of the shipping for the negative customer who lives out of the country!) Customers who cannot appreciate my efforts, need not return.

Now that this is off of my chest...

Thank you for reading this novel!

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. As you said, some people just cannot be please no matter how many hoops you jump through for them. Great idea to move on and not let them pull you down to their level. Have a great week, fondly, Roberta

  2. True, true, some people just can't (or more like won't) be pleased no matter what you do.
I'm looking forward to purchasing one of your journals. I have no idea how long it will be until I do, but I'll be getting back to work soon, so it shouldn't be too much longer! hehe
I even just made a top ten list & added your journals. I absolutely love the look of them, and I am so excited about the day I get to write in one! hehe

Have a happy rest of the week!
